First batch of .50 ae reloads. Pic and question.
I did my first 50 rounds of reloads. Only messed up one case when expanding the tip for the bullet. Besides that everything went perfect. One question i have is this. I bought 300 grain speer tmj...

Looks like too much crimp to me. The case isn't actually bulged at the bullet, its actually starting to colapse just below the bullet. Seating and crimping on the same stroke can be a little tricky at...

Actually it looks like a classic case of the "coke bottles" to me. I have a couple sets of dies that still do that. It's what happens when the die sizes the case down smaller than necessary. It can be...

Tinman: There isnt to much crimp. That slight bulge was there before i did the crimp. The crimp was done seperately. I just did a very minimal crimp on it. The bullet diameter is a TINY bit thicker...

Cool About shooting it and function... The trimming is important, for sure...Bummer about Lee problem...Now you should check case might have bulged to right specs (after firing and formed to...

I know a lot of folks swear by Lee products, but it seems like everything that I have seen on the shelves looks kinda cheaply made. I do have a couple of Lee die sets (45 acp and .223 Rem) and they...

My IMI brass had a bulge just like those... have you fixed it?
View ArticleRe: First batch of .50 ae reloads. Pic and question.
